CareCloud adds institutional credit, simplifies capital structure

At a glance
CareCloud closed a $50 million credit facility led by Citizens, with Provident participating, and will fully redeem its Series B preferred stock. The transaction replaces higher-cost preferred capital with lower-cost institutional debt, simplifying the capital structure and improving financial flexibility.
Wrnt’s perspective
This is how the capital stack is supposed to evolve. Early lenders and partners used warrants to price risk and secure upside when outcomes were less certain, and the company benefited from that flexibility at a critical stage. The move to institutional debt now reflects improved credit quality, but the harder problem at scale is not capital access, it is maintaining discipline across financing, structure, and long-term operating leverage.
